Grain sampling complex
The robotic complex of high-speed sampling of grain from grain trucks is designed for simultaneous automatic sampling of several streams of cars and transfer of the sampled material to the laboratory. The complex is integrated into the Transport Management System of the enterprise and guarantees the confidentiality of sampling due to the maximum exclusion of the influence of the human factor from the selection process.
The confidentiality of sampling is ensured by assigning a unique identification code to each car, automatically taking samples and transporting them to the laboratory in the form of numbered portions without announcing the data of the car, the driver or the company from which the car came. The laboratory enters the sample analysis data into the enterprise's Transport Management System, which forms unloading directions and queues.
Composition of the Complex
The entrance to the complex for each flow of cars is equipped with the following equipment:
- An information board showing the car number;
- Two-color traffic light;
- QR code reading equipment;
- Control video camera;
- Gate control equipment.
Each of the six sampling streams is equipped with the following equipment:
- Traffic light of the first line;
- Traffic light of the first line;
- Information board;
- A set of sensors to control the accuracy of the car installation;
- Delta-K automatic sampler;
- A set of pneumatic transport equipment for the delivery of samples to the laboratory;
- Video camera for control of sampling;
- Traffic light of the third line.
The following equipment is installed in the laboratory:
- Automatic cabinets with pneumatic sampling equipment;
- Electrical cabinet with a touch panel for controlling the complex;
- Personal computers Management systems of samplers, Systems of recognition of license plates and Systems of management of transport of the enterprise.
Principle of operation
The complex is integrated into the Transport Management System of the enterprise and guarantees the confidentiality of sampling due to the maximum exclusion of the influence of the human factor from the selection process.
Procedure for entering the complex:
- The car number is displayed on the electronic board, displayed on the basis of data received from the Enterprise Transport Management System (TMS);
- The driver presents a waybill or a mobile phone with a QR code to the QR code reader;
- The Complex's software recognizes the car's license plate based on the data from the video cameras, and if the car's number and the QR code of the waybill match the data of the SUTP electronic queue, it turns on the green signal of the traffic light and opens the gate.
On the first line, cars are prepared for sampling, traffic control is carried out using traffic lights.
On the second line, automatic sampling is carried out, traffic control is carried out using traffic lights. Sampling is carried out in pairs - two samplers carry out sampling from the right car while the left one is parked, then vice versa.
Direct control of the sampling process is carried out from the laboratory on the basis of images from video cameras located above each sampler. The process is managed by an operator who monitors the correct installation of cars, the absence of awnings. At the same time, the Complex automatically offers an option of sampling points in random order from the template database. The operator checks for the absence of sampling obstacles and gives the Start command. The rest of the actions are performed automatically by the samplers.
Pneumatic transport equipment supplies samples to laboratory cabinets, on the mini-displays of which the identification code of the sample is displayed, which is the basis for entering the results of the analysis by the laboratory technician.

At the same time, the Complex automatically offers an option of sampling points in random order from the template database. The operator checks for the absence of sampling obstacles and gives the Start command. The rest of the actions are performed automatically by the samplers.
Pneumatic transport equipment supplies samples to laboratory cabinets, on the mini-displays of which the identification code of the sample is displayed, which is the basis for entering the results of the analysis by the laboratory technician.
Complex software
Provides an opportunity to perform sampling in both manual and automatic modes. In both modes, the software synchronizes the operation of samplers and traffic lights and blocks the possibility of emergency situations.
In manual mode, the operator selects the sampling points himself based on the image from the video cameras. At the Start command, the Complex selects a sampler and takes samples along the fastest and most optimal route.
In automatic mode, the operator selects the contours of the body based on the image from the video cameras, the Complex automatically places the selection points. If necessary, the operator can move the points. The complex automatically selects a sampler and takes samples along the most optimal route.
Traffic lights are managed by the operator. At the same time, the Complex blocks their incorrect activation and the movement of cars during the operation of the samplers.
